Autumn Session Pottery Classes  

8-weeks $300

Each meeting lasts for two hours, and participants are encouraged to come early or stay as long as they would like. Tuesdays and thursdays are open studio days, which means that the studio is available morning to night, for your exploration.

Studio fee includes as much clay as needed. I encourage everyone to make unabashedly, as this is how we learn, by repetition and taking risks. Week 7 hosts a group crit where we spend time looking at each of the pieces we've made over the session, and choose to fire the pieces that are truly our best, favorites, inspirational, or exemplify our progress. As by tradition, the last week of the session is glazing, and pieces are ready to be picked up on the following Sunday.

Perfect for beginners as well as experienced, all levels are welcome. Independent work is encouraged and supported!

Registration is by phone or email (click here), and payment by check or cash reserves your space. Session size is limited to 4...bring a towel and apron.

Young people are welcome to be part of the adult classes!

Cancellation policy: Cancellation before the first week of class: full refund minus $50
No refund after the first week of class.

Make-up policy: All students are encouraged to make up missed meetings during other class times in the current session, as space is available, and to utilize open studio times. Make-ups do not carry over into other sessions.
