Teapots are the quintessential item in a potter's repertoire. I continually challenge myself to fine tune a detail on a series of teapots, and each group is different from the previous and next. They often hint at the season they were made in, or the weather of the week..... Coffee pots, on the other hand, are a newer challenge to me. Along with lidded jars to hold coffee beans, I've been inspired in the last few years to create a coffee pot that holds its own filter on top. It's important to me that the filter be stable, so each filter sits down into the gallery a bit. You can use paper cone filters, or each pot has the option of a hand made cloth filter to boot! Click on the thumbnail above to take you to Tea or Coffee. If you are in the mood to browse, enjoy the whole list. (Lidded jars to hold coffee bean can be seen on the Lidded Jars Gallery page.) |
